A Neighborhood Church Building God’s Kingdom in Los Gatos

Lone Hill Church has existed in the same neighborhood near Leigh High School in Los Gatos for more than 40 years. We are a non-denominational Christian church that has a very simple Vision Statement for what we want to be. Our church leadership pray and minister:

“that each member of Lone Hill Church will glory in Christ and continuously live in His presence through faith (trusting in Christ and His Word), and obedience (following Christ).”

Our Mission Statement describes how we plan to get there and is coupled to our Vision Statement. It is:

“Reaching and equipping people to experience and live in the presence and power of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Col. 1:27-28 …God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery… which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim Him, admonishing every person and teaching every person with all wisdom, so that we may present every person complete in Christ.

The Bible teaches us that it is in our experience of Christ’s abiding presence, experienced through His indwelling Holy Spirit, that we find His strength by which we can do all things. (Phil. 4:13 & Jn 15:5). It is in Christ’s presence that we hear His call to “Follow me.” (Mk. 1:17) It is in His presence that we cease to fear, to be anxious, to feel alone, and we experience His encouragement (Jn. 14:1), His peace (Jn. 16:33) and His fellowship (Rev. 3:20). It is Christ’s presence which changes lives. This is the magnificent truth of the Gospel.

Lone Hill Church seeks to be a family worship center which holds forth this magnificent truth of the Gospel to those in our neighborhood and community in Los Gatos, the greater San Jose area, and to the world.
